So, I'm going to be opening my commissions, limiting it to 5 slots, and currently limiting it to Pokemon.

The price will be set for the following:
  • $0.50 [40 :points:] a piece for sketches, which is my usual for doodles (Usually the super cutsie stuff)
  • $10 [800 :points:] a piece for colors, which is my usual for portrait shots. Normally, these would be priced towards $25 or $30 based on complexity and style.
Below are a few examples of the styles I do and what their normal price range would be.

$15+ Range
PKMN - Lugia the Great Guardian by LtJJFalcon PKMN - Angry Pikachu by LtJJFalcon Prince of the Skies by LtJJFalcon

$8 to $10 Range
PKMN- Pikachu by LtJJFalcon PKMN - Shiny Umbreon by LtJJFalcon PKMN - Shiny Mew by LtJJFalcon

$2 ~ $8 Range
PKMN - Tea Time by LtJJFalcon PKMN Chibi - Umbreon by LtJJFalcon PKMN - Ghostly Trio by LtJJFalcon

So, if you are interested and serious about it, send me a note and we'll talk!

Again, I do have limitations as to what I will and will not draw.

Things to keep in mind (Applies to both Trades and Commissions):
  • I do have several "styles" I work in, so just keep that in mind when deciding something
  • I will not draw perverted, fetishes (Bondage and the like is ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THE QUESTION), or questionable things.
  • So no hentai, yuri, yaoi, and the like... You want those, go find someone else...
  • I do reserve the right to refuse someone's request if I do not feel comfortable about it.
  • I don't mind what you do with the commission once all transactions have been completed, but please let me know beforehand if you make some alterations to it and don't perverse it... Art is to be respected, not treated like trash.
  • All images created are for private/personal usage only.
  • For commercial usage, please let me know beforehand for negotiations. There are many legalities I want to cover for this.

A New Year

8 min read
Well, seems like I can do some minor catch up here since the holidays are now over.

1 - Employment [WARNING: Rant Ahead]
Holy crap... The holidays were killer for me this year with me working on the floor instead of the registers, but even with just the flooring/decor department, some customers can be completely stubborn. No matter what you tell them, they will always insist that they are right and that they are the ones who are paying for my paycheck and should be giving them things their way. There are rules against this for the safety of the associates and the customers, which they do not seem to understand. We also cannot rush installations because, let's face it, installers also have their own schedules and the scheduling is done through them, not us. Oh, and let's not get into the boxes of broken tiles we get because of the way they are possibly handled during shipping. Had to mark down so many of the more expensive wood-looking ceramics and that was PAINFUL! But, on a lighter note, I'm already starting pretty strong with sales, so that's always a plus. Not to mention, being able to speak Mandarin and Taiwanese in Asian-centric Baldwin Park is a plus, especially for those who have just immigrated from Asia. Though, I think I might have Mom or a few other people from Church teach me Cantonese, and maybe a bit of Tagalog from some people I've met online through gaming to add to my language resume. I've noticed that there are a lot of customers that speak Canto and, unfortunately for me, I can only understand a little bit but have to ask them to communicate with me in Mandarin. We'll see how this goes though.

2 - Second Goal Near Completion
Ok, so I'm pretty stoked. As soon as I can register, if I pass my spring class, I'll have my Tradigital Level 1 certificate from Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) completed! With that done, I'll be able to do small internships or part-time animation jobs. That being said, all I need left after spring semester are two more classes (I'll split that into Fall '17 and Spring '18 since I do have to work to pay the bills for these classes! D: Otherwise, I'd knock both out in the Fall!) and I'll have my Tradigital Level 2 done. From there, I'm debating if I want to take the rest of the classes and finish up the major, which I think is about... 10 more classes? I dunno, I have to check on this one. If it's too much and it really clashes with my work schedule, I think I'll stop at Tradigital Level 2 and start looking for another job on the side. That, or start up my own little craft/trinket shop. We'll see what goes on.

3 - Romance
Oh man... Time flies when you're spending time with the one you love, and I will have to wholly agree to that. It will be three years of dating in February on the 10th with my beloved bounty hunter (I like calling him that, and he just calls me his birdie-bun <3). We're still learning a lot from each other and may still have some disagreements here and there, but that's all part of the relationship. I pray that God will continue to Bless our relationship through 2017.

4 - World of Warcraft
I'm actually taking a break from this. Think it's just the slump of recovering from holidays and whatnots. Hopefully, I'll be raring to go when the next raid drops, which is Nighthold. Then again, is my item level even ready...? Err... Might have to log in and check on that... XD

5 - Art and Stories
As you may have noticed, I have become a bit more active in my drawings, though most are originals from the story DeadeyeClark and I are writing together, Flight of the Falcon.

For those who don't know, Flight of the Falcon (or FotF) is a pretty large story that explains several things that happened between the time of Corruption: The Aftermath (or CTA) up until present-day in the Reality's Exile Role-Play universe. The reason for this are several-fold.

  1. During the time RE was working on CTA, I had disappeared from the messageboard for personal reason, leaving the board for at least 3 or 4 years due to real life issues. So, CTA was left at a stand-still, but instead of ignoring the story, the members had begun to use it as a major turning point for the RE universe. So, it has been left up in the air as to what happened to the people who had partaken in the story. Most had written that they had left the mission because it became too dangerous or they had come up with a temporary ending to it so that there was some continuity with the universe. Needless to say, the universe today actually looks pretty well-rounded and opens up to a lot of stories as to what happened post-CTA.
  2. I needed an explanation for my characters as to why they disappeared for such a long amount of time. I play several characters, my two mains being Captain Falcon and Jessie Falcon [My OC], and I control most of anything that is related to the F-Zero franchise on the board to make sure there is consistency when also trying to line it up with the Metroid franchise timeline. This includes Galaxy Police, its racing team High Orbit from the Falcon Densetsu/GP Legends/Climax timeline (Though, I do modify it to make more sense in our RE universe) and other tidbits I tend to pull from here and there. Flight of the Falcon addresses a lot of loose ends for the factions that I play easily. Namely, my characters had been living in another system for the last few years due to complications of living on Earth. That made it simple enough in case I ever wanted to return to the role-playing scene.
  3. After talking with DeadeyeClark for a while, he managed to coax me into returning to Reality's Exile. At first, I was skeptical since I left without warning and I had a... not so nice feeling towards one of the admins. After being told what had happened in my absence and learning that the admin I had issues with left, I returned to RE to take a look around and check things out. Needless to say, it is much quieter than before but the stories are still just as high-quality as they were when I left. Thankfully, my old CTA story was still there and I had all the Word files with the plots for it on my desktop. So, after reviewing the original FotF, DeadeyeClark and I decided that this would be my return story to tie off any loose ends that might exist as a result of CTA and pave the way to more stories in the future that I will be participating in.
  4. While writing FotF (Currently, we're working on Chapter 23. The previous chapters can be read on the Reality's Exile Role-Play, as well as other stories worked on by other members of the board), DeadeyeClark and I were talking about the future of RE, as well as factions that might have sprung up during my absence. He was also talking to me about how his character, Travis Clark, might eventually have his own bounty hunting company while still being registered under the Bounty Hunters' Guild (or BHG), a faction that DeadeyeClark controls but also allows other people to affiliate with since it makes more sense that way. So, we will see how this one works and how it will effect the universe.
  5. Flight of the Falcon also paves way to a series that you guys may have noticed I have been tagging some of my works with, namely "Crosshairs", or the full name "Crosshairs Company." This is a sub-series of stories that takes place in the RE universe that DeadeyeClark and I are writing that focuses mainly on Travis and his family, side missions, and other interesting things that may happen outside the main RE storyline. Unlike the RE stories, however, they do address a variety of issues that are present today, such as drug usage, human trafficking, bullying... Basically issues that society has that need to be talked about and dealt with. I'm not so sure about putting these stories up, but if I do, it will probably either be here or on fanfiction.net, which I will put up links.
So, fast forward a few years later, and while cleaning up my computer, I had run into a very old Word document I had started towards my 7th year in college (I had to take a break and I switched majors). I opened it and read the contents of it, not knowing that it would eventually become the foundation to what is now known as Flight of the Falcon.

Think that's all I have to update for now.

Much love, and happy drawing/hunting until next time ~

PS: Not sure if I should sub to DeviantART... Maybe I'll do that after I get some of these bills paid off! XD

For the wilds!

4 min read
Yeesh... Another year has gone by. Is it really that quick? Well, guess I'll have to do a yearly catch up!

1 - Work, work!
Working at Home Depot part-time still as a Flooring Specialist now instead of cashier, though I will be backup cashier if needed and I'm not busy. Though, this also means that I'll be even busier than front end since I have to cover not just the flooring department but the special orders and specialty needs as well. And with the holidays coming, I'm also learning to cover the appliance department as well... Yeesh! Let's hope I even get some time to do some drawing!!!

2 - GOAL REACHED!!!
I finally have a Cintiq 13HD!!! Don't know why, but Puma and I decided to go to Fry's one day and check things out. She passed by the Wacom shelves and saw the Cintiq. Originally, it was $799, but Puma noticed it's a blue tag, which means there's a discount on it. After fussing with the computer associate there (Seriously, they have NO idea what they're talking about, especially the ojisan there...) and needing the department manager come out to straighten things out, we found out that the price it $699. Without another word, we managed to get one, and now I'm happy about it! Whee!!! already did a piece or two to test the settings I need (Can't remember what I had on the school's Cintiq, so I'll need to copy all those down next time I head there).

Time to see what damage I can do with this baby!!! :D

3 - Finding Time for Romance
It's nearing my 3rd year with my current love interest, and I must say... While it has been trying on both our ends, it is also very rewarding. I cannot imagine where I'd be without him those years ago while I was still in college. Regardless, I love him and I hope that God will continue to Bless our relationship throughout the coming years.

4 - World of Warcraft
Yes, I'm still finding time to play this! :XD: Probably because I work either late noon or late night, and I always make at least two hours after work for time to play (4 hours if I have coffee and I go home at midnight!) Really loving this expansion, especially since there's so much to do! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the expansion is going to give us! Whee!!!

5 - Art
Well, with my goal reached, definitely be on the lookout for some new pics here and there. I'll probably also begin to scan some of my older stuff that I haven't been able to scan due to time (or just plain laziness... XD) A lot of Pokemon stuff, and tons of doodles of Chibi the mini-falcon AI (Well, GI to be more correct, but she's young. She won't tell the difference until much, much later).

Think that's all I have to update for now.

Oh yeah, I'm back into playing and collecting the Pokemon TCG! Gotta say, the latest expansion, XY Evolutions, is definitely a storm of nostalgia since they're basically using the original design of the base set cards, save for a few tweaks here and there to separate the newer from the original. Loving the fact I have so many Charizards now! :D

Much love, and happy drawing/hunting until next time ~

CRANBERRY LEMON BARS!!! :D These are gonna be treats I'm gonna be making over the holiday season. Hopefully, I'll get the crust right this time.

So, after the debacle with a certain group, all I can say is that it's water over my back and I'm off to better things anyways. So what am I up to these days? Well, first off, finally got some more time to do more/finish up some pictures. Many thanks to Null-Entity and Tasastock for the stock images used for my images so far. Great team there, especially on the gun duos; that one was a fun one to draw! XD Now for a quick update on things.

Art
Doing random pieces here and there. Expect a Christmas greeting card on my end featuring one of my original characters (just who it is, I'll let you guess!). Also doing some Pokemon art here and there. Need to get those up. Did one of Pikachu, Nuzleaf, and Sandshrew. Also did a larger sketch of Flygon and Charizard (somewhere in one of my 20+ sketchbooks... XD)

Classes
Still in storyboarding, and working on the final project. Hope this one turns out really great. I'll try to find a way to post up the midterm video, probably have to make one without sound since it's playing to the song from Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Problem is that the animation sort of only works when the song is playing along... x.x

Requests and Commissions
The bills are killing me!!!

As such, I'm also offering commission services for small digital pieces at $5 to $20 a piece, depending on the difficulty. Physical pieces I won't be doing until I can somehow get a better work schedule that isn't as demanding on my time, or until I finish this animation degree. Requests will be kept to sketches though. At the moment, I will be taking commissions/requests for the following:
  • Pokemon (Fake-mons included, if that tickles your fancy)
  • World of Warcraft (Mostly Night Elves, but I'll try other races. No guarantees on this one... XD)
  • Original Characters (Though, this one will take more time)
  • Concept art in general
Payment we would have to talk about what your options are. Personally, I use Paypal, but if that isn't your cup of tea, we'd have to negotiate and see what options are open.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to drop it into the comments section of this journal or into my note box. Just be advised that it might take me a bit to get back to you as I check every few days.

Mmm... Not exactly happy mood, yet not in terrible mood. Neutral for sure. Tired to be honest. Haven't been sleeping so well these last few days due to workload and weather (Humidity sucks!). Fall/Winter tend to be complete stressors for me, which isn't a good thing. Oh well. Life goes on. At least now I can think clearer now that some things have been dealt with and I'm not muddled with so many stressors or issues nagging at my back.

Maybe I need a personal vacation... Maybe take a weekend to go to the mountains or Napa Valley or something. Just away from the normal city life. Maybe in December or January.

Oh well. Life goes on.

A few little updates here and there.

Art
Doing a few special Pokemon pieces for the hell of it since I need to get back into more formal drawing styles than my doodles and such that I'm currently using for storyboarding class. Nothing too much since I can only crank out about one or two pieces a month with the schedule I have now. Rest are all sketches, which I don't really put up since, let's face it. No one really looks in the Scraps folder. So, there are actually a ton of pieces, just that I haven't scanned them in for one reason or another. I'll probably see which of my latest sketches are worth going through and cleaning up to final.

Classes
Speaking of which, might put up a few WIP videos of my storyboard so far. Just need to figure out how to do it on DeviantArt.... XD Otherwise, I'll probably just post it on youtube if it's absurdly big. The video file so far is maybe... 140 Mb? But that's considering that it hasn't been compressed to the correct format yet. Think it's about... 75% ~ 80% done since this is a midterm project. Probably by end, it'll be 200+ Mb uncompressed but maybe down to... 50-ish Mb when fully completed?

Requests and Commissions
Definitely need another job. The bills area killing me.
