PKMN - Houndoom

Long ago, people imagine its eerie howls to be the call of the grim reaper

One of my most favorite Pokemon from GSC, Houndoom is one badass demon dog, especially with a mega evolution (was actually expecting more, but looks like that's not happening... lol). Like the other ones (Aside from Senor Jelly), this was doodled and sketched in the morning, then completed after work. The feet were a bit annoying to do in this pose, but did give me some challenge.

This one was more of a pain to work with since there was a ton of graphite smudging, especially during the second and third layers for the shadows. Had to find image references of dobermans to help with the pose.

Done with HB lead (Don't know what's wrong with the .5 mm pencil... it still keeps smearing), scanned, and retouched on Photoshop.
